Bert Kreischer Early Life
Albert Kreischer Jr. was born and was raised in Tampa, Florida. His mother was an early childhood development specialist, and his father was a real estate attorney. He attended a private Jesuit high school before enrolling at Florida State University (FSU). Kreischer majored in English and was a member of the fraternity Alpha Tau Omega.
Bert Kreischer Early Career
During Kreischer’s sixth year at FSU, The Princeton Review rated the university first in their annual ranking of the top “party colleges” in the United States. Later that year, Kreischer was the subject of a six-page feature in Rolling Stone, in which he was dubbed “the top partyer at the Number One Party School in the country.” The essay, titled “Bert Kreischer: The Undergraduate,” described Kreischer’s partying antics, which included spells of heavy drinking and public nudity. According to the Rolling Stone story, Oliver Stone has optioned the rights to Kreischer’s life. When the development arrangement with Oliver Stone fell through, all of the submitted scripts were returned to their writers. The script was sold to National Lampoon by one of these writers, who changed Kreischer’s name. This inspired the 2002 film National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, starring Ryan Reynolds.
Kreischer told the New York Post in 2014 about his role in the film: “I’ve never seen it before. I have absolutely nothing to do with it.” Kreischer discussed how National Lampoon execs verified to him that he was the inspiration for the film on Joe Rogan’s podcast. He also stated that he would never sue National Lampoon for making the film without his input.

That same year, one of his stories appeared on a scene of the Comedy Central production Shorties Watchin’ Shorties. He understands what it’s like to commit to a schedule that keeps fans interested, and while he’s kept his sense of humour, he’s put in the time, effort, and miles on his body to ensure that he’s accomplished his objective. It takes a lot of hard work and effort to keep up with his insanely busy schedule, yet audiences would never know if he was exhausted. Most people are unaware of what happens behind the scenes. Most successful professionals did not become wealthy by simply sitting on their hands or partying away their money.
Bert has also contributed to his fortune through the proceeds from the selling of his book. In 2014, he released a book titled “Life of the Party: Stories of a Perpetual Man-Child.” This became a well-known literary work, and sales were excellent. Readers reacted well to the book, and it also opened a new professional door for him.
